It’s a Great Year to be a Tiger Fan
July 18, 2008
I’ve been a Missouri Tiger fan all my life. I was raised in Columbia and saw the Tigers through many tough years. Imagine my delight at the great season they had last year, accomplishing a #1 ranking as well as winning in the Cotton Bowl very handily over Arkansas. I listened or watched to many a Tiger game with my beloved Grandfather, so he must have nudged God a bit in Heaven to give the Tigers such a great season.
Now, with 43 days until their first game, more good news has come the Tigers way before they even hit the field… Life is certainly far from over.

Jeff,
Great site. I was really inspired by your weight loss feat. It looks like the 12-week body of life transformation and it looks like it sure worked. I, too, remember the sad days at Mizzou….Steve Peitzar(whatever), John Cherry and all the other saviours. There never was a Missouri quarterback like Terry McMillan…..until last year. Chase and Co. put us back on the map after a long absence. I even made two trips up there from Dallas last year, and we were in “hog heaven” at the Cotton Bowl.
Thanks for the inspiration and Tiger talk. Now if only I can find my old “Flip the Bird” button!
